THE AMERICAN MUSEUM in BATH: A fascinating collection & stunning gardens - perfect for families with autistic kids
We turned up to the American Museum with no idea of what we'd find and we were all truly impressed (including our autistic boys). The whole site is around 125 acres, and features an arboretum, children garden and play space (big thumbs up from the boys for the rope swing!), a kitchen garden, bamboo forest, spectacular viewing points and a woodland walk.

SANDHAM CHAPEL: A beautiful sanctuary for autistic families
A short family friendly guide to visiting Sandham Memorial Chapel with Autistic Children

LONDON: Natural History Museum - perfectly roarsome for autistic kids
One of our absolute favourite London activities is attending the Dawnosaurs events at the Natural History Museum. These incredible SEND only sessions win for there genuine commitment to inclusivity, and the care, attention and real understanding of hidden disabilities that its staff show in their interactions with our autistic and adhd children.
