National Trust Properties
The National Trust offers a range of autism friendly attractions from historic houses, castles, archaeological and industrial monuments to gardens, parks, and nature reserves. Children aged 17and under can join for £12 and enjoy free entry.
Note: free car parking is not included.
If your child is disabled you can apply for the Essential Companion pass so that a carer or companion can visit properties with them free of charge.


CHEDWORTH ROMAN VILLA: A Guide for Families with Autistic Children
We turned up to the American Museum with no idea of what we'd find and we were all truly impressed (including our autistic boys). The whole site is around 125 acres, and features an arboretum, children garden and play space (big thumbs up from the boys for the rope swing!), a kitchen garden, bamboo forest, spectacular viewing points and a woodland walk.
